Since Rar files are compressed archives ,it is difficult to open these files.That means files may contain one or more files or even folders in your hard disk. BUT In Rar files are space saving way of storing single files or folders.
The filename Rar is given by russian programmer Eugene Roshal(Roshal archive)
There is no built in support for Rar archives in any version of windows. Inorder to open rar file you should use third party software.

If u want open rar file ,Tech-pro.net recommends bitzipper.It can open zip files,cab files etc..Akso its fast and flexible.
